Questions, answered.

Does it work with my OpoShop store?
Yes. Consently is made for OpoShop. It installs from the OpoShop App Store and adds the agreement to your store with no theme edits and no code.
What can shoppers agree to?
Start from final sale, custom order, terms and refund policy, pre-order or marketing consent, or write your own heading and wording. You can run more than one, and show an agreement for every product or only for the products you choose.
Where does the box show?
Either on the product page, above Add to cart, or in the cart, above Checkout. "In the cart" covers both the cart that slides open and the cart page. It shows before checkout, not on the payment page.
Does it stop the sale if they don't agree?
Only if you want it to. Make an agreement required and the button waits until the shopper ticks the box, with a short message. Make it optional and it never blocks anything. Note that an express pay button, such as PayPal in the cart, is run by the payment company and is not held by the box.
Could it break my store?
It is built not to. If Consently cannot load or hits an error, it shows nothing and blocks nothing, and your store works as normal. That also means a shopper whose browser blocks it can buy without ticking, so treat a required agreement as a strong prompt, not a lock.
What is in a record?
The exact agreement text that was shown and its version, the policy link if there was one, the time, the page and product, the shopper's browser and IP address, their email if they were signed in, and the order number once they place the order. The wording is copied from your saved settings by our server, not sent by the shopper's browser. Records are saved rows that Consently never edits. They are not cryptographically sealed.
Will this win my chargeback?
No app can promise that. The bank decides. What Consently gives you is a record that the shopper was shown your policy and agreed to it, with the wording and the time, which you can include in your response.
What does it cost?
Free. There are no paid plans and no fees.
